70's , Comtesse grey croc handbag in excellent condition

This bag is part of my collection of genuine skin handbags.

A rare statement piece that blurs the boundaries between fashion, heritage and craftsmanship. It is a true vintage 1960s handbag made by Comtesse.

Comtesse is a luxury handbag company, started in Germany in 1929 by A.D. Kopp. After WWII, the handbags began to be exported to North America, and in 1953, the Kopp company began using the brand name, “Comtesse.” Comtesse handbags are used by the royal families of Japan, Sweden and Thailand, among others. A very special design for a high quality bag.
